Francorchamps, Belgium – September 22, 2017 – With only two rounds left in the 2017 season of the European Le Mans Series, Will Owen and United Autosports are on the tail of becoming this years champions. Trailing rival, G-Drive Racing, by only twelve points, the heat is on the American to put down a stellar performance this weekend at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps during the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps 2017.
The seven-kilometer circuit is the longest Owen will tackle during the regular season in the #32 Nissan Ligier JS P217. Famous for its spectacular elevation changes, including the dramatic dive and climb of Eau Rouge, Spa is one of the most anticipated events of the season for both drivers and fans.
The 21 year-old along with teammates Hugo De Sadeleer and Filipe Albuquerque had a strong showing in todays practice with another practice session and qualifying tomorrow before Sunday’s race.
